Diverse Figures Make for Interesting Armies!

7-12-2023

Here are the latest Caesar fantasy figures, Lizardmen.  These are fine figures, for a very affordable price.  I paid around $17, delivered from Taiwan, off of e-Bay (2-2015).  I received 34 figures in 12 poses, even though they advertise only 11 poses.  There is one figure which is unique, hence the 12 poses.

They can be mixed with 28mm GW Lizardmen figures, as most lizards grow, continuously, until they die!

I've also mixed in some Mage Knight figures, to create an eclectic Lizardmen army, where not every Lizardman looks the same.  Variety adds spice to any army!

Here are some toy conversions...

From board game piece, to gaming miniature...

A bevvy of war dogs is every Mage's best friend, in a tight spot!

From a bucket of farm/wildlife toys, to Lions to eat unwary adventurers!

These tan plastic Lion figures were painted only with The Dip Technique
(Minwax Polyshades urethane stain, Royal Walnut color), and based.
It doesn't get any simpler...

Battle Masters game pieces converted to...

Ultra-Heavy Plate Barded Cavalry!  Primed, painted, and Dip'ed.

Lionheart soldiers painted as Hobgoblin Bronze-Plate-Mail wearing Infantry!  Their shield design was created using symbols in MS Publisher.  They were printed on paper, and decopage'd onto their shields.  The faces were painted orange, with blue noses.  The whole was Dip'ed, and pressed into battle.
